How much will I have to pay?

At present, fees are £30 per hour, payable weekly or monthly, by cash or cheque. There will be no charge for planned absences, but half the fee may be charged for unplanned absences, (excepting sudden illness, accidents, etc.)

What does Integrative Counselling mean?

There are many schools of thought that have theories about how people can be helped through counselling and therapy. An integrative counsellor will draw on the wisdom of more than one theoretical school, in order to meet the specific needs of individual clients.

My core training is in Petruska Clarkson's 'Five Relationship' model. In this model the theraputic relationship of trust and confidence between counsellor and client is central. This can be an important factor for people coming for chronic pain counselling or people wanting counselling in retirement.

Where will the counselling sessions be held?

The sessions take place in quiet, comfortable suroundings in the Bitterne area of Southampton.
There is ample parking, and access by bus and train.
The initial session may be held in an alternative venue.
